Seven Years

I went to Celebrate Recovery tonight. My son, Brandon wanted to go and since I’ve missed a few weeks I agreed 🙂

I always love the warm welcoming hugs!

And well…it was chip night.

After giving the opening prayer and greeting I realized that February marks the month I surrendered my porn addiction to God.

It was seven years ago that God called me to help men overcome a struggle I myself was still dealing with. And over these seven years I have witnessed many men find freedom…and women as well. And I praise God that He is still using me to reach young men and help them find freedom.

The lesson tonight was on spiritual inventory and when the invitation was given we had 15 people accept Christ into their heart.

And since it was chip night…

We had many come and pick the blue surrender chip symbolizing giving their struggle to God. We also had many get their 30, 60 and 90 day chip as well as 2 awesome 1 year chips and 3 3 year chips.
