If you have not shed a single tear over your addiction, no matter what it is, you are not ready to give it up..not wholeheartedly.
Tears bring the willingness to confess.
Confessing brings tears.
Tears bring healing.
Healing brings tears.
Tears bring freedom.
And with freedom comes more tears, as you hear others tell their stories, for you remember where you were and where you are now.
And you cry…not for yourself, anymore, but for others.
Now is the time for tears…not tomorrow when your addiction has destroyed everything…NOW.
Oh my goodness, Stu! This is so true! So true in a lot of different areas. In true repentance, true sorrow and wanting to change. Love this!

I’m with Renee: Confession and repentance are serious business, serious heart issues. It hurts to rip flesh.
