Kristian has so kindly chosen me to participate in The Eclectic Contrarian’s challenge. John, wrote a post and in his post he gave a photo and asked three bloggers to write a story based on the photo. Hence, the Tell The Story Challenge🙂
Awesome idea John!
Kristian thank you for choosing me to participate 🙂
You all can read Kristian’ post here:
Tell The Story – Love In The Rain
Here are the rules John set up:
Write a story about the picture you’re given.
Select 3 nominees
Give them a new picture
Here is the photo Kristian gave us…
You just came to be fed, just like everyone else
But as you were being fed you felt the stare
There is always one who has to stare
Wondering why you are even there at all
You look dirty and different to them
You look around and see the others being fed
They all have a story, just as you do
They all have blemishes
So you shrug off the stares
And return to your purpose of being fed
For you remembered a phrase you heard before
There is none righteous, no, not one
For this challenge I chose…
And here is your picture, ladies…
Have a great day everyone!!
Anyone else see the duo colored question mark in the near center of the photo? LoL just might be the snake from Jungle Book🤣🐍🐍🐍

Oh, I hope it wasn’t a snake…lol. That is the tree I sat and prayed under everyday while in Honduras

Yes ma’am. As soon as I finish my other tell the story challenge, you will get to see another one. You’ll be tagged in that one 🙂

Okay, but I’m hoping somewhere along the line is your Story about Honduras and that picture and you praying.

I’ve shared parts of the mission trip already but im sure I can come with more stories 🙂
No one else knew I prayed by that tree every morning. They were all eating breakfast. I took the photo as a memory 🙂

Wow!!! Stuart! You definitely “knocked this one out of the park,” as they say. Blew MY socks off, anyway.
This digs deep into how God created us (sharing and looking out for others), and the way we use the way He created us: looking at others, wondering why others look at us, assuming, guessing, verifying…

Oh wow Kathy! Thank you. I’m glad you liked it 🙂
I have been on both sides of this scenario when I was younger. I guess that’s where this story came from.

That which we have lived and is in our hearts makes for the best writing.
