Today is the day the Lord Jesus Christ arose from the tomb. What a momentous occasion this was for you and I, the believer!

A little history lesson real quick…

Check this verse out…

And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.
John 20:7 KJV

When eating a meal the master would either ball up us napkin, meaning he was finished eating and the servants could clean off the table or the master would fold the napkin as a sign saying I will return.

When Christ said it is finished…He meant that the sins of the world have been atoned for.

His mission is not complete until He gets the go ahead from his Father to go get his bride…the church.

He is returning and we must place our trust in that fact. That no matter how freaking bad this world gets…Jesus Christ WILL return and take us home.

Oh what a glorious day that will be.
