You, yes YOU! Do you realize how vital you are to yourself?
Do you know why?
Because it doesn’t matter what the world says or does…it comes down to YOU.
When everyone is telling you negative things…only YOU can choose to believe it.
It doesn’t matter how many people tell you it’s time for change…only YOU can make that choice and subsequent first step.
When some one hurts you…only YOU can choose to either forgive or hold on to the resentment.
Only YOU can choose to love…
Only YOU can choose to hate…
Only YOU can choose to change…
Only YOU can choose to believe…
And there is only one of YOU!
Be the best YOU that you can be!!

Thank you Kathy. It really trips me out how many choices we make on any given day, much less in a hour. And yes, the main choice any of us can make is to choose Him. Forever grateful for His making a way to draw us back to Him!

We underestimate our power to choose the things you mentioned here. James 1:2 says to “count it all joy when you fall into various kinds of trials”. He says we have the choice of perspective. We can choose to look for the growth in the hardship or to mope around like a victim. Thanks for this, Stu!

You are so right. We do underestimate our choices. Especially in how we react to cerrain situations. I really believe I was talking to my self when words started flowing. As you said, I have a tendency to mope around at times instead of seeing it as a chance to grow. That for me comes after a lot of reflection. I’m kind of slow at times…lol
