The Outstanding Blogger Award 2020

My dear sister and wonderful friend Charity has nominated me for The Outstanding Blogger Award😊

Thank you so much Charity! I am deeply honored and touched. I’m glad you liked the chocolate mousse 😉

Here are the rules/guidelines:

1. Provide the link to the creator’s original award post. (very important: see why in step 5)

2. Answer the questions provided.

3. Create 7 unique questions.

4. Nominate 10 bloggers. Ensure that they are aware of their nomination. Neither the award’s creator, nor the blogger that nominated you, can be nominated.

5. At the end of 2020, every blog that ping-backs the creator’s original post will be entered to win the 2020 Outstanding Blogger Award!

This award was created by Colton Beckwith.

Here are Charity’s questions:

1. What is your least favorite color?

The ole school puke green!!!

2. What is a song you keep hearing and wish you never heard again?

Nothing at moment. I’m listening to Stryper, I Am They and King & Country😊

3. Are there any condiments you do not want on your sandwich or burger?

Mustard and pickles 🤮

4. Do you like to wrap presents or put them in gift bags?

I love wrapping presents. It’s those last minute “Dad, I need a present for so and so tonight” that go in gift bags.

5. What Holiday would you get rid of if you could?

As much as I love Valentine’s Day it would have to be the one. If you love someone every day should be Valentine’s. What irks me about Valentine’s Day is that no matter what you have done or how much money is spent even the weekend prior if you do not go all out for Valentine’s your a bum and “you do not love them”. Been there…done that…and was hurt deeply 😥

6. If you had to spend one year working every single day or one year eating nothing but vegetables everyday, which would you choose?

Vegetables for sure! I eat more veggies than meat anyways 😊

7. If you knew that today was the last day of your life, what would you do?

I would spend every second with Angie doing whatever came to mind 😉

Here are my questions for my friends I am giving this award to:

1. What is your favorite clothing to wear that unfortunately does not look good on you? (Color wise, etc)

2. Why do you blog? Is it so you can minister in the lives of others, you just enjoy writing, a calling from God, or another reason?

3. Mask or no mask? Don’t worry about what others think or say, please give your honest opinion and why…

4. What is your favorite book of all time?

5. What childhood memory bring an immediate smile to your face?

6. Do you see God’s Handiwork everywhere? In people, nature and objects…

7. Which band, not singer, has influenced you the most.

Here are the friends I am giving this award to:

To my friends: please do not feel obligated to participate. Just my little way of saying thank you and that I am thinking of you! Have a great weekend 😊

  1. PTL! Congrats on your Outstanding Blogger Award, Stu! 🙂
I totally know what you mean with those last minute gifts. Those bags are awesome for saving money when you cannot afford wrapping paper. You can get them at the Dollar Tree for $1. Sometimes 2 or 3 for a dollar.
We love to do both wrapping and bags. We always include bags so that everyone will at least have a bag or two to carry everything in. We even get creative with carrying gifts… like duffle bags, tote bags, luggage, bookbags, and boxes of all kinds.
Thank you for the kind nomination! May God bless you as richly! 🙂
Praying you and the family are staying safe and well. God loves you, Brother.

  2. Congrats bro!
    Puke green… yuck!
I agree with you about mustard, but pickles? Come on bro!!! Pickles are life!!!!!!!!
Yay for veggies more than meat! That’s great. I’m the same way.
I’m dying to answer #3 of the question you asked your nominees!!!!! I already have it written out from a few previous uses. It’s called my Mask Rant. It’s super wild and about 10 pages long!!!!!!!!

      1. You’re welcome!

Well, too bad because I like both!😊

I don’t know if I should. It’s pretty bold. I’ve sadly already lost some friends over it because they didn’t liked what I said.😭

        1. Everyone has their own opinion on the masks. I don’t agree with having to wear them. They do not work.

But if a you have lost friends due to your personal stance on masks then maybe they weren’t friends after all☹️

  3. Congratulations, Stu! I always learn something about you when you get an award. My favorite color is mint green and yours is green. Regular grass color or pine needle color or…?

  4. Congrats, Stu! Love the answers. 🙂
Puke green 😂 reminded me of boiled eggs that have been boiled too long. 🤷🏼‍♀️
I am also a fan of the veggies. 🌽 🍅
But why did you have to go and hate on my mustard and pickles? 😆😂 I don’t prefer ketchup on my burgers or sandwiches but will eat it if it’s already on it though.
    Thanks for the nomination! 😁

    1. Thank you. That’s funny on the eggs😂

Love my veggies but mustard, to me, goes on corndogs. I like sweet pickles. Restaurants don’t carry those🙁

I’m a mayo guy for burgers and sandwiches 😊 But if someone else makes the sandwich/burger and puts mustard on it…I’ll eat it.

  5. Stu! Congrats to you for you truly are outstanding. I’ve been praying about you and the car situation. Your answer on the Valentines Day question is spot on. So many people put so much emotional emphasis in one day. Sigh.
Thank you for the nomination. I’m truly honored.
    Blessings always 🙏🏽

    1. Thank you for the kind words & the prayers sis! They are truly needed!

I really thought I would get flack from my Valentine answer. I’m glad several agree with it!

You are very welcome for the nomination 😊

  6. Great job Stuart!

I’m with you on the puke green. 🤮

    No mustard?!!! 😮

Yeah, I can see how Valentine’s Day can cause huge problems. No man should be treated like that. Valentine’s Day is everyday when you are with the right person. Just being with them, hearing their voice, getting that text, feeling their touch… that is enough for me. Gifts and flowers are nice, but they are just things. Love itself is the best gift one can ever give or receive… it is priceless.

I kinda knew what your answer to #7 would be. 😉
