We really need to be like children before God. We need childlike faith, trust and humility 🙏

I’ve long wrestled with this (maybe it’s my teacher’s or my parent’s perspective). Which aspect of a child do we embrace? I’ve dealt with enough children that I’ve seen tantrums, blatant disobedience, disrespect, childlike wonder, giggles of pure joy, and eyes shooting mean darts at me. Children have so many aspects, just as do adults. It does specifically say, “little children,” and they are veritable sponges for learning. If we sit at Jesus’ feet as little children, and soak Him in, believing all He tells us and does with us (because little children are believing), and accepting His discipline, then may we enter into the Kingdom of Heaven. Because once God grabs us, He converts our hearts and we must learn all things over again with Him as our Teacher. And we get to enter into the kingdom of Heaven even here on Earth.

I believe it comes as a trust thing. Little children trust without question or fear.
