The Sunshine Blogger Award 2019 | 6th Nomination

Steve, thank you so much for asking me to participate in The Sunshine Blogger Award!

I so enjoy reading Steve’s posts and his acceptance of awards. He shares stories of the animals and birds that come to visit him. And he even shares his “fear” of spiders and his wonderful collections. But everything he shares with us is done with a unique sense of humor and he even allows Muffin to help with his posts 😸😁

Thank you Steve and Muffin for brightening our days!

Here are the rules for The Sunshine Blogger Award:

Thank the blogger who nominated you.

Answer the 11 questions the blogger asked you.

Nominate new blogs to receive the award and write them 11 new questions.

List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award in your post/or on your blog.

Notify the nominees about it by commenting on one of their blog posts.

Here are the questions Steve has asked:

1. Do you have any pets?

Yes, I have a kitten that Brandon caught that drives me insane with her constant meowing. She will not stop…ughhh! Her name is Princess. I just call her little bit 🙂

2. How long have you been blogging?

I started blogging in 2013 towards the end of the year.

3. Do you think you will be blogging a year from now?

Most definitely! I did almost quit a few years back. I am glad I stuck with it. And Renee told me I have to keep blogging 😂

4. Do you prefer to use a laptop/computer or your phone for blogging?

I prefer a laptop/computer but I do not have internet at the house so I use my phone which definitely works for those on the fly posts that my head comes up with from time to time 🙂

5. What time of day do you blog most often?

I usually write when I get home from work or while waiting for my ride to and from work. So, I guess it would from 5 to 6 am and 7 to 9 pm.

6. Have you ever traveled right across the country where you live?

I have been to many states in my life but not near enough. The farthest east I have been in Florida. The farthest north I have been is Indiana and the Farthest west I have been is to Arizona

7. Do you enjoy cooking?

I love cooking but it’s hard to do that now. I don’t have fridge and since it’s just me I don’t see the point. The enjoyment in cooking is to make a meal for someone special in my life.

8. Do you enjoy reading?

Oh, gosh yeah!! I love leaving this world and go to another time and place.

9. Do you enjoy exercising?

Well…not really. I get enough of a workout at work.

10. Do you enjoy eating healthy foods?

Depends on the food…lol. I like my fruits and veggies 🙂

11. Do you have any ideas for me/my blog?

I enjoy your blog just the way it is Steve…serious with your unique sense of humor. Well…maybe less attacking of the feet 😂😂

  1. congratulations Stuart! very well deserved and it is so fun to read your responses as I get to know you a little better. Please forgive me for not following the rules, but I am going to answer the questions right here……thank you so much for thinking of me, I deeply appreciate it!
    1. I have read so very many books so this is difficult for me to choose, but the book, When Elephants Weep, made a lasting impression on me.
    2. Yes, I believe love can last a lifetime. God loves us eternally and we are made in his image, so again, yes….but you have to work at it!
    3. Apple…….so easy to use!
    4. A pet pig………i LOVE the sounds they make, and they are super smart. Plus, how much fun would it be to take your pet pig on a walk in the park!?
    5. I refuse to go to a zoo so it is an aquarium.
    6. I don’t eat breakfast as mornings are usually my worst time of day, but if I did eat breakfast it would be fried mush.
    7. My dream vacation would be a cabin on a private beach overlooking the ocean. I want to think this will be heaven!
    8. I wish I had learned that I had more control over my life then I realized –
    9. Wow, this is a really tough and great question. You are special………more people need to hear this.
    10. Blogging has made me realize that I am not alone in my struggles…….a blessing beyond words!
    11. Most of us have never been taught or experienced good communication skills……..

Thanks again for including me in this Stuart, I appreciate it!

      1. Sounds good. My son and I have had to keep packing for being in emergency situations that left us with no fridge. Mostly we ate a LOT of Chef Boyardee! :), vienna sausages with crackers, and spam sandwiches, and different chips and crackers.
Family is the important things! What God provides call thou not unclean. 🙂

    1. Oh, I rent a house that is like as old as I am…lol. I want to get out of here and get an apartment but that means moving to another town.

I tried the rent to own places but both fridges had issues and I was just like forget it.

  4. Congratulations Stuart!!! I don’t know how you do the no fridge thing. 😮 Do you have a costco? They have some nice little fridges for around $80-$100 I think if you ever want something that’s not $700-1,4000 but will hold a good amount. Actually, I bet Wal-Mart has them for a good deal and free delivery. They deliver all kinds of stuff here in 2 days with free shipping. Toilet paper, soap… Etc.

I’m a nerd, I know. Going back to my corner now…

    1. Thank you! We don’t have a Costco but we do have a Wal-Mart. I’ll look into the little ones, especially if they are cheap enough.

Thanks for the giggle. Going back to my corner now…just cracked me up 😂

      1. 😂 I always feel someone’s gonna be like, “Who are you? Don’t you think I already thought of that/looked into that?!!!”

Wal-Mart does have them for $99.00 They are 3.2 Cu Ft with a small freezer up top. If you just want one for drinks, they have a 1.7 Cu Ft for $69
