About

Here we are together

I am just a man seeking God while trying to raise two Godly children. After heeding God’s voice I started two pages on Facebook to hopefully help others not make the same mistakes I did in life; Spiritual Leaders of the Family and Resurrecting The Redeemed From Porn Addiction. I have made many mistakes in my life, as have we all, but I praise God daily for His love, grace and forgiveness.

I am also the father to two of the most loving and amazing children. My son, Brandon, is my little mini me. My daughter, Erin, is my precious angel. Together, they make my world.

  1. Stu, thanks for visiting and following my blog. I’m afraid it isn’t much at this time as I still haven’t gotten around to writing anything of my own yet. I ‘ll be interested in reading more of yours as time permits me.

  2. thanks Stu for commenting on my blog. Not for just that I appreciate the visit but more that I’m always grateful and encouraged to run into another warrior in the battle against porn, addictions and shame. I think sexual addiction is Satan’s greatest stronghold and the weapon he is using to destroy families and especially to silence the voice of Christian men who are too afraid to talk openly about the hurts and shame this addiction creates. We have to know we are not alone and that Christ died to redeem the lost years and offer eternal hope. Press on brother to the glory of God!

    1. George, I agree with you…sexual addiction is the devil’s greatest stronghold. It is his playground and we need to take our role as guard more seriously.

Knowing the stats, it is hard to believe that there are still people who believe they struggle alone in this but as you said no one is talking about it..especially in the church. But if we continue in voice and in integrity we can make a difference and turn the tide.

      God Bless brother

  4. Thank you for the follow of my blog, Stu. One of the first posts I tried to read of yours was the Dear Porn Star one, which may have been a mistake because I couldn’t finish it (too graphic & emotionally disturbing). However, I commend you for what you’re trying to do here—it is much needed since porn addiction is more prevalent than people are willing to admit and the devastating consequences are just what the devil wants (on both the addict’s and the actor’s side) as is the case with any sexual abuse (because that’s what porn is). Kudos to you and blessings on this ministry God has entrusted to you.

    1. I agree Mia that post is graphic. I appreciate your words, as they are so very true. Please take a moment to read some of the other posts here that are not so graphic, as I have toned down over the years.

I so look forward to reading more of your blog. I was moved this morning by the one I had the chance to read before clocking in for work. I even shared it via Facebook 🙂

      God bless.
