https://youtu.be/L9UB9vgr5YM This video by Julie Slattery was shared with me by Bonny over at Oysterbed7 some time back. I was at work. So on my lunch break I started watching not knowing what I was getting myself into. Well, I messaged Bonny back and said I should have waited til I got off work...I can't… Continue reading Sexuality : A Holy Metaphor

Struggling with sexual sin
This post meant a lot to me for multiple reasons. One being that women are becoming addicted to porn and masturbation at an alarming rate and it breaks my heart.
Eniola is a voice shouting at the monster and saying there is freedom.
The second reason this meant so much to me was that a dear friend mentioned the whole box scenario to me just the other day and to then read it here was a confirmation to me. My lid to that box is closed and put away not to be opened again. Here is what Eniola had to say about the box…
I have opened the box before but I have also forced the lid shut, so I acknowledge that it’s going to be harder for me to keep it shut after opening it before. So I don’t take chances.
Have you ever wondered why God gave us all these raging hormones and intense feelings, yet he asks us not to express them until we’re married. It’s like giving a child a box of tantalizing chocolates and asking him not to open them until a day or time that may never come.
I feel like that a lot of times. I think there’s just something about being young that makes us burn with passion. Even the Apostle Paul recognises this. The world that we live in does not make things easier. Everywhere you go, something about sex is thrown into your face. Sex has been idolised and made the newest trend. It’s like a train every young person wants to catch.
At one point or the other, we’ll be sorely tempted to give in to the demands of our flesh and if you’re like me, I have given in a…

Prostitution | Explained
I am sharing this because people need to be more informed about prostitution, sex trafficking and porn. Not many realize how much pornography influences sex trafficking, much less the impact it has on these women who are forced to watch porn to know what is in store for them. They are brainwashed to believe that this is normal and accepted behavior. THAT, DEARS FRIENDS, IS A LIE STRAIGHT FROM HELL!!!!
I’m not blaming porn for prostitution, because prostitutes have been around since the Old Testament times. But it has made it worse. That I do know.
There is a link in Penfila’s post that I caution you about. I went to it and it just sickened me the reaction from the john’s.
I had an earlier post which was a brief talk about Prostitution. If you had not checked it out, I recommend you do so. Click here.
The type which I am about to talk about here is the Sex Trafficking one. Prostitution is the business or practice of engaging in sexual activity in exchange for payment. Let me explain something new to you. This word is Latin-derived. The composition is ~> “Up Front/Forward” and “To Offer Up For Sale.” Prostitutes are not only female but male as well.
Types
- Brothels:
An area fully committed to prostitution. It is run by a Pimp or a Madam. All activities take place at one premise. - Street:
Prostitutes wear seductive clothes in spite of the weather and allure clients from the roadside or traffic. They service the customer in cars, motels or hotels. - Escort:
The act takes place at the customer’s residence, a hotel room, or any…

Lord, Take My Unclean Heart And Make It New
I have sinned! A lot! Just like Paul, I consider myself the worst of sinners. That's why I can't look down my nose at anyone on this planet. Looking back at some of the things I have done in my life I'm sickened... I mean, damn.... What five year old boy, in kindergarten, asks girls… Continue reading Lord, Take My Unclean Heart And Make It New
What I Lost When My Husband’s Porn Addiction Won
As I was reading Cynthia’s post I was floored. I have NEVER seen loss from a spouses addiction like this before. That is why I simply had to share this with you.
As an ex porn addict this cut me deeply but at the same time this quote proves that God works all things for our good…
“What I do know now is that what was lost can be found. What was stolen can be replaced with something better, brighter and more beautiful. And amazingly, what was once mourned will be celebrated.”
Guys, share the heck out of Cynthia’s post…not mine, please. Share her story and give other women hope!
There have been many losses in my life created by my husband’s porn addiction and intimacy anorexia. Many things were blatantly stolen from me throughout my marriage leaving me dazed and confused. But others were a slower trickle that I didn’t even notice until the emptiness engulfed my soul.
Either way, I lost. And my husband’s addiction won. It wasn’t fair that I was an unknowing participant in a battle I knew nothing about it. I wasn’t prepared. I had no warning. I didn’t even know it was occurring. I repeatedly got knocked down, each time multiplying the losses and shattered shards of my heart. Until one day, I lay battered and crumpled on the floor. My opponent oblivious and uncaring that he and his addiction were the cause. On my knees, I cried out to Jesus for mercy and help. And then I rose unsteadily, turned around, and hobbled…
