Wednesday’s Life Song: The Brave | Just A Man

I love this song. Of course I love a lot of songs 😂

But this one holds truth for us Christians.

No matter how hard we want a family member or a friend to accept Jesus we can’t do it for them.

We can, of course, point them to Christ but they must choose.

We could bleed for them but our blood will never wash their sins away. Only Jesus’ blood has that power!

We could speak to them endlessly and even if our words have merit those words will not get them into heaven.

We must love them, pray for them while lovingly pointing them to Jesus so they can make their choice for salvation.

That is one of the hardest things for us to accept as Christians, especially when it’s a close loved one

Stu, I appreciate you sharing this meaningful song. It brings encouragement to my own faith walk. Guiding loved ones to accept Christ requires endless prayer.
