Stu’s World: 9 Years & Counting

Holy Cow๐Ÿ˜ฎ

9 Years! Not in a million years would I have believed you if you had told me 9 Years ago that God wanted me to start a blog. But at the advice of 2 very dear friends I did just that.

It was to be an extension of my Facebook ministries Spiritual Leaders of The Family and Resurrecting the Redeemed From Porn Addiction.

It started off as just that but over the years has grown into something I can’t truly express.

I have shared so much in these 9 years and yet there is still so much to share.

There are little pieces of my story in almost everything I’ve written and somehow I feel like I haven’t even scratched the surface.

I’ve learned a lot about myself since rededicating my life to the Lord. Some things have been good while other things have made me cringe at the person I was.

I was bad y’all. I led such a deviant lifestyle.

Remembering my first molestation led to remembering the other times as well. Which explained a lot about my sexual behavior over the course of my life.

Quitting porn and having Angie step in to show me what true love is and having the patience to teach me how to actually FEEL and make love to someone was and is one of the biggest blessing in my life. Did you know you can make love to someone and not even get undressed? Yeah, me either.

Have a I faltered over the years and succumbed to watching porn? Yeah, I have. Loneliness and depression have a way with me at times. But those days a few and far between.

I have been so humbled at times when someone reaches out and says how a post I had written touched their heart. It is truly mind blowing how the Lord can use our words to impact another.

But one of the biggest things to have happened in these 9 years is that I have made some amazing friends that actually care about me not only as a blogger but as a person.

So many of you, my dear blogging family, have invested your time in reading and commenting on my posts over the years. By doing so we have become friends…brothers and sisters…that I can’t imagine my life without.

So thank you all for following along on my journey. May we continue to allow the Lord to use us in whatever capacity He see fit.

Love you all!

  3. Wow what a testimony! I see much of myself in what you’re going through. In Jesus we are more than conquerors and He strengthens us for the battles which lie ahead. We need to meet up when I go to see mom in a couple of weeks. Be blessed!
