Stu’s World LXXXIX

K, it’s been a minute. As you can tell from recent posts I’ve been getting lost in music. Which, trust me, is a good place for Stu to be.

But my dear sister Charity messaged me the other day saying she is going through withdrawals from me not doing Stu’s World every week.

Speaking of Charity. She sent me a present…check it out…

This is one of those cooling rags she posts about and wears like all the time. Yeah, I got ragged on at work as the only one wearing a rag on his head and I’m the only white guy that works out on the yard to boot but I don’t care. I wear it proudly. This thing works.

I wet it, shook it and tied it on. Instant difference. Even after the water evaporated the rag stayed cool and no more sweating😊😊.

Now D wants one😂😂

Brandon and Erin have been at the World Taekwondo Tournament this week in San Antonio. Erin couldn’t compete due to a shoulder injury but judged a lot. Brandon won 3 bronze medals. So proud of him.

People say oh I’m sorry he came in 3rd. I’m like he faced the best of the best and came in 3rd out of them all. That’s awesome and nothing to feel sorry about.

Angie has not been feeling well. She had a reaction to the second vaccination shot and ended up back in the hospital. She’s fine now but I was worried like crazy. I don’t like her feeling bad, emotionally or physically!

I caught a morning dove Friday after almost running it over by accident with my forklift. He was injured and hobbling along so I picked it up and petted it like I do my kittens on the neck and it just settled into my hand. I could not take a picture nor could I stand there all day holding the dove so I found a shady place near a puddle of water. When I came back an hour later it was gone😢

So cool to be able to hold it though.

Like birds in a nest waiting to fed…hungry little buggers!

Life has been ok. Sick of the rain though. Sick of the heat and in November I’ll be sick of the cold. It’s a never ending cycle. But I would rather sweat than freeze.

For those in the prayer group that prayed for Fabian and Cinthia. Thank you! Unfortunately, they did pull the plug and Fabian is with the Father. Continue praying for Cinthia and their two children as they learn to live without husband/father.

Your prayers mean a lot to them, their family and their friends.
