Stu’s Topsy Turvy World LXXIV

Sorry I have been absent lately. I have been dealing with some things.

My dear blogging brother Joe sent me a private message on Messenger the day after Christmas saying the Lord had prompted him to pray for me. Little did he or I know for that matter that Brandon would throw a bomb at me later that day.

Brandon, out of the blue, asked me if I would support his decision to become transgender😮

All I said was that I would have a MAJOR problem with that choice and then went into the reasons why.

About an hour later we ended our talk with him understanding my reasons for not being “supportive” of his decision.

I will say his choice for wanting the surgery is not because he feels he is a girl but for another reason. One that made me truly ponder his sincerity.

But I will ask that you guys pray for Brandon as well as for me as I need guidance.

We did have a great time together during my 4 day vacation for Christmas though😊

We tried the gingerbread house. He got frustrated and just started eating the candy😂

I just love taking photos of Brandon & Muffin asleep😍

Big D is doing a lot better. He comes back to work tomorrow on light duty.

I am glad he is coming back. It has been tough being the new appointed yard foreman. I’m doing my job, D’s job and Mark’s job since he got fired and trying to ensure everything gets done in time.

I though I was tired before…yeah…no.

I came unglued on one of the newbies the other day. Guess he didn’t like it as he didn’t show up for work the next day. But I’m really not concerned. He wasn’t pulling his share of the load as it was.

Kids nowadays just want a check and not earn it by actually doing the job they are being paid for…ughhh!

I guess being soaking wet and cold made me on edge a few days.

Angie and her sons have been having health issues lately with upper respiratory problems. The doctors feel she has Covid but we will not know anything until tomorrow😥

Her dad is back in the hospital with pneumonia and took a turn for the worse yesterday.

One of the new guys goes to Shreveport every weekend to see his girlfriend. I am going to ask him to take me one weekend soon so I can see Angie😊

Angie called and told me that they added to their family😮 I know she is allergic to cats dander so that ruled out a kitten. So I guessed a fish..no…a snake..no…a lizard…no… and she has arachnophobia at a high level so no spiders. Her son Ryan works in a pet store…

Guess what they got…

Her name is Lillie😍

And I am so freaking jealous. She knows I have wanted a ferret since I was a teen.

Please pray that Angie does not end up with Covid of any sort as her autoimmune system is not at 100% as it is.

That’s all for now. I will be doing a post saying goodbye to 2020 that will share more into what has been going on with me soon.

I’ve just been sort of blah here of late

Have a blessed week!

P.S. Thank you all for the Christmas wishes via Twitter, Facebook, Messenger, and here on WordPress. Thank you for the gifts. But more importantly thank you for the prayers!!

  1. Goodness, but there’s so much to pray about these days, right?? I’ve had a quiet few weeks too…maybe I’ll flesh that out in an upcoming post soon, I don’t know. It’s hard enough being an introvert, but I have these seasons where I get super introverted everywhere else too!! It’s so frustrating, lol. At any rate, I’ll be covering these things in prayer. Hopefully all goes well at work soon, and everyone stays healthy and well! Blessings to you, brother!

  2. Oh goodness, Stu, you have been through the wringer! Something happened with me the other day and something just rose up inside me! I got mad at that old devil. And boy did. I have a prayer meeting! And you know what? The situation completely turned around! I will be helping you pray. God can do anything! Praying for Angie, her dad. and your family! Erin is growing up so much! She is beautiful!

    1. Yes, she has grown up to be a beautiful young lady♥️

It’s sad. But I’m getting used to being put through the wringer! I am hoping that the new year turns that around. I’m tired of all this…

      1. Your reply reminded me of the song by Hawk Nelson called Diamonds.

“Cause he’s making diamonds out of dust,
        making diamonds out of us.”….

I know you are weary. When we are weak, He is strong. I pray God gives you rest from your burdens. You will be as tough as nails through all your trials. 🙏🏼😢
