  3. Happy Thanksgiving, 🦃🍁 Stu! I was just quoting some of that scripture today. It’s one of the scriptures my 5th grade teacher taught us to memorize. (unheard of now I know) I’m so grateful to that teacher for taking the time out to teach my class several scriptures that year!

    1. Renee, that awesome! Back then they could do things like that. Thank goodness. That’s part of the train up a child…thing I wish teachers, that believe, could still do and not lose their jobs.

      1. Yes, they could. Because of that one teacher, I cherish the verses she taught us. She had us stand up by our desks, and the whole class would recite it aloud with her help, till we all had it memorized. We memorized the Lord’s Prayer, Psalms 23, Psalms 100 and a poem about winter, too. 😂 She also taught us actions to different fun songs. She was a great lady obviously!
        Those were the days!
        We had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I was
        stuffed like a Thanksgiving turkey by the end of day! Hope yours was great!

          I wish some of mine had done that. A few talked about God but never helped us to memorize Scripture.

          I’m happy for you and yours😊

          Mine was good. I talked with Angie for a little while and then Brandon came over around 6 to spend the weekend with me😊
