Amy has so kindly tagged me to participate in The Decade Tag. This will be fun as most of us have not been blogging for 10 years and it will give us a chance to get to know each other prior to blogging to a degree. Thank you so much Amy for tagging me!
To play along:
1- Please share a link to the creator of the tag- jesusluvsall.wordpress.com
2- Share some highlights for you over the past decade and if you want, a few low points
3- Tag whoever you wish to.
4- Ask them some questions
5- Use any picture appropriate for such a tag.
In the last decade dear ole Stu has been through a lot. And despite the ups and downs it has all been for the better.
I have been through a second divorce. That was my rock bottom. I turned everything over to God. It has been a unique journey ever since.
I have been homeless twice. Sleeping in sheds, my car and on friends couches.
I have lost “friends” due to my stance on porn and yet I have gained brothers and sisters for the same reason!
I reconnected with the love of my life Angie. And though we are not together at this moment…she is now and forever will be my beautiful amazing love!
I have seen both my children accept Christ!
I started the ministry Spiritual Leaders Of The Family, Resurrecting The Redeemed From Porn Addiction and it’s sub groups on Facebook.
I went on my first mission trip to Honduras ♥️
I become a member of this wonderful family of bloggers!
I gained my freedom from porn.
I hit the half a century mark of time spent on this ball we call Earth.
Sadly I will never hit that mark in married life 😢
I now look forward to what the Lord is going to do in this new year and decade.
Here are Amy’s questions:
1. Your age at beginning and at end of the decade?
41 and 51
2. What you wish you could still have now that you had then?
My Ford Probe and Angie full-time in my life. I do miss Brandon and Erin being 2 and 5. But hey, we all have to grow up. They are just doing too fast.
3. What you have gained in the last decade as a child of God?
I gained my freedom! And I have gained so many wonderful friends to walk the journey with.
4. Where do you see yourself in another decade?
At 61 I better be with someone, because I am not getting any younger. My kids will be grown adults for Pete’s sake.
I am tagging 🤔🤔🤔
Please do not feel obligated to participate! I just think it’s cool to reflect on where one has been and where one wants to be.
Here are my questions:
1. What is the most important lesson you have learned in the past ten years?
2. Can you share a moment where you were laughing so hard you had tears in your eyes?
3. How many jobs have you had in the past ten years?
4. Where do you see yourself ten years from now?
Have a great weekend everyone!
