Stu’s World VIII

Man, this week has been a doozy. Needless to say it is freaking HOT and it hasn’t even hit triple digits yet 😦

I normally don’t sweat that much. But not this week. Sweat is rolling down my back, dripping on the concrete from my head and my arms. Lots of water. Have I ever told you that I can’t stand water…but I’m drinking water to keep myself hydrated. Can’t afford to pass out at work.

I saw an angel in the clouds this week but by the time I could stop what I was working on and grab my phone it change a little.

When I first saw it my mouth opened because there was a battle in the sky…angel vs demon.

That is what stinks sometimes with cloud formations. Unless you catch what you see exactly when you see it…well it’s not what you saw.

Brandon kept calling the other day. I didn’t answer because I was loading up trucks. Finally he sends me a text and this was what he sent 😂

I guess this was his way of getting my attention.

This week Brandon and Erin are in Orlando for a mini vacation before they compete in The World Taekwondo Tournament 🙂 Can’t wait to hear all about their visits and how they fared in the tournament when they get back this coming Sunday 🙂

It was Brandon’s first time flying. Poor little man was so nervous.

He just called me to let me he is getting a water slide for the 7th time 🙂 Glad they are having fun!

I missed him Friday night though 😦

One of these days dad will be able to take the them on a fun vacation!

I lost myself this morning listening to music. I was bouncing around from 80’s metal to current day Christian rock. And settled on This Time by John Elefante on abortion. But since I listened to the 80’s I figure I may do a post on some of my favorite songs.

The rains from tropical storm Barry has finally started to reach North Louisiana…

I am still in the process of writing the Naked and Unashamed series I talked about writing. Along with a few others. They are being chipped away at.

There will be those days where the only post is the Daily Inspiration. I do not want to rush a post just like I do not rush getting awards done. I am always honored to be nominated and I want to honor that nomination by taking my time with the answers and my questions.

Also the prayer group is still going. It is such a blessing to pray for one another. If you would like to join the group email me and let me know.

We have many in our blogging family who need prayer for various reasons. So let’s lift each other up.

Have a great week everyone!

P.s. I did talk to Angie Monday. She is doing amazingly well and has gotten another prayer answered 🙂 Hopefully I will get to see her soon!!

    1. He says he did fine. I did tell him to chew gum on take off so his ears wouldn’t ring. I hope he does great coming back home too 🙂

My first plane ride was to Honduras. It was so beautiful being above the clouds 😦

  1. I can still see something up there! A shadow of a figure! Wings so beautifully displayed! I can’t imagine what you must’ve seen that escaped the picture. It was surely God showering you with an image of His love and protection… His presence! It reminds me of 2 Kings 6:17! ❤
Praying for you as you work in such hot weather. Hydration is key. Glad your kids will have some fun memories to tell you. Loved the picture from Brandon… LOL!
    God loves you, Stu!
