Stu’s World II

I hope everyone has had a great week so far.

Mine has, as always, had its ups and downs but I did manage to make it to work all week 🙂 I just do not think my car is worth the money it would cost to repair it. I would much rather take that money and attempt to get something cheap that runs and will get me from point A to B and back.

I was able to spend time with Brandon last night. We didn’t get to finish our game of Monopoly… yet again. By the time we start playing we are both too tired…lol

But we did have an in depth conversation about the lies his mom has been telling him. Not going to go into it but…why the lies…

Just tell the truth for crying our loud. The truth always comes out anyway…one way or another. Ughhh…

Hence one of the reason I chose today as Corona day. Yep! My one beer every six months or so…

I was able to chat with Angie last night and I told her I missed her. She said we would do a video chat tonight. I said that would be awesome but I know it will not happen. Because she knows me too well. It would just make me miss being with her worse. And she’s right 😦

Call me stupid. For better or worse…I love her and I can’t see my life without her being a part of it.

But I will be completely honest I would not be able to give her the things she would need. Oh, I could give her the romance, true intimacy and beautiful love making, emotional support and spiritual guidance but not the monetary things I feel a woman needs.

Continue praying for her and for me please 🙏

So now I sit watching Ready Player One (I love this movie) and drinking a Corona.

I still want to apologize for not being able to read and comment as I once did.

There are several bloggers who have sort of fallen off the radar that I am concerned about. I have been praying for them. We all have those bloggers in our world that have sort of disappeared pray for them. Heck send them an email just checking on them. They may not respond, but at least they know you care.

  5. I know what you mean about bloggers who just don’t show up. It’s hard to keep track of everyone, and then God brings someone to mind, and you think, “Hey, I haven’t heard from so-and-so for a while…” so you have to shoot a message. I think of William Pearce and Christy Istrate. Sometimes they let you know they’re dropping out for a while, which is nice.
    Always good to catch up with you, Stuart. Thanks for posting.

  7. “Stu’s World” these are great! 💕 Stuart, I don’t know how you do it. You are such a strong person to go through what you do and not give up.

    The lies? That’s terrible she does that. Been divorced and I can tell you, you are absolutely right, it will all come out eventually. 😉 Don’t stress over it. The kids grow up and they know the real you, eventually they see you for who you are no matter what anyone says because they are always watching you. 😉

    I love monopoly!!! My favorite game. What properties do you always want? I go for boardwalk and park place. 😂 What token do you play with? I always had to be the iron when I was little. I was the only girl. Not sexist all all. 🤔😀

    2. I hardly ever landed on Park Place and Boardwalk. I always bought Ventor Avenue, Marvin’s Garden, Atlantic Avenue amd I had to have Baltic Avenue and Mediterranean Avenue because they were just past go 🙂 I was always the 🐕. With Brandon I’m the ship and he’s the car.

      Lies, yeah…some that would have left a lasting impression on their lives if I had not told Brandon the truth. I can not believe she would do that…but then again, yes I can 😦

      I would love to video chat with her everyday ❤❤ I did get to talk to her today though 🙂

      I just keep going sis. I am no stronger than you, Angie or anyone who goes through a bunch of stuff/crap. Some days it’s easy and some days I just do not see the point. I just keep foing because I want to see what’s at the end.

  8. Sorry you and your children are going through this! I don’t know why some parents feel the need to tell their children things that could hurt them or the other parent. Still praying for y’all! I wanted to shield my oldest daughter from as much as I could from the pain of divorce… 😢 Monopoly! That brings back so many memories from summers with my youngest brother and nieces and cousins😄 Do not pass GO and DO NOT collect $200! 😄…If some of these people on here are like me, they may be taking breaks or they may be facing family stuff or sickness. Has anyone else been having problems with people’s new posts and comments not showing in their notifications? I’m still on the free thingy, so it may just be be?

    1. A lot of new posts are not showing up. When I go to the reader it will only pull up the last hour worth of posts and then it skips to yesterday. Aggravating!

      Oh man, me and my friends would have all night Monopoly parties 😂
