Satan’s Lies | God’s Replies: Day 40 The Bible CAN Be Trusted To Be True

Satan’s Lie:
Spirit: I don’t trust the Bible since men made it up.

God’s Reply:

Above all, you must realize that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophet’s own understanding,

or from human initiative. No, those prophets were moved by the Holy Spirit, and they spoke from God.
2 Peter 1:20‭-‬21 NLT

Ok, there are some great authors out! Ted Dekker, Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Patricia Cornwell, James Patterson, Edgar Rice Burroughs, Herman Melville, Jack London, Jerry Jenkins, Robert Liparulo, etc. But no one has the imagination to come up with some of the crazy things in the Holy Bible.

And no one can wrap someone in love, peace, warmth and hope when the words on the page come alive like this…

When the Holy Spirit, who moved men’s heart to pen the Bible, touches your heart the Words He inspired comes alive!

I trust the Bible to be the inspired Word of God. Yes, men penned the books. BUT they were directed/inspired by the Holy Spirit.

I trust it! I double dare you read it and feel for yourself!!

  1. That’s one I hear just about all the time.. “man wrote the Bible”…

God searched the hearts of men and carefully appointed men of such love and discipline, that when He said put a period, they put a period. When He said put a semicolon, they put a semicolon.

God didn’t choose just anyone and leave them haphazardly in the process.

My question is what kind of God would He be being so careless with something so important?
