Satan’s Lies | God’s Replies: Day 32 Repentance Is Needed

Satan’s Lie:

Repentance: I can’t really believe there is a judgment day. Why repent?

God’s Reply:

And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
Acts 17:30‭-‬31 KJV

Oh, there will be a judgement day!

Even Christ said so…
But all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken.
John 12:48 NLT

And you do need to repent…for many reasons.

I believe a lot of people do not understand that repent means turn away from from your sins and turn to God.

I also believe that many believe that asking for forgiveness if repenting but it’s not. You can ask forgiveness all day long but unless you repent of that sinful act and turn to God you still have to ask for forgiveness all day long.

And if you do not repent of your actions, no one will believe that you are a Christian. And you are in fact being a bad witness for the testimony of Christ’s work on the cross. Guilty as charged on this one….just saying.

You need to repent for peace of mind.

Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away.
Acts 3:19 NLT

Repent of you sins, turn to God, kmowing that on judgement day you will found blameless thanks to blood of Jesus Christ.
