Satan’s Lie:
Peace: If I had more money, my life would be easier.
God’s Reply:
Better is little with the fear of the Lord than great treasure and trouble therewith.
Proverbs 15:16 KJV
Life is tough no matter how much money you have.
I’ve had many various jobs in the last 46 years of my life. And with each job there was a different pay scale.
It didn’t matter if it was a minimum wage job or one making 15 an hour with overtime…bills are are always due, inflation always hits and then there are surprises no one expects that dwindle said money to nothing.
Then are the other unexpected things layoffs, bankrupty and unemployment. Those hit hard no matter how much you make. And it changes everything!
From personal experience I will those things suck! But the constant throughout all my stress and worry…GOD! And He provides needs…not wants. At least that’s my experience.
Those needs are important…food, lights and shelter. Everything else can and will wait.
Life is not easier with more money. It can actually be more complicated.
You want a new toy? Save and pay cash!
Our peace should be that God loves us and that He will never leave us…not the amount of money in our bank accounts or how many toys we have. Can’t take em with us anyway!
Remember you can not serve God and money.

Hopefully it will get physically easier as time goes on. I have always found the first week or two of a new job is the most difficult trying to learn their ways. You’ve got this!

I’ve always said that a few more dollars an hour and I’ll be set. It happens and I’m in a higher tax bracket and make less…go figure š

I’ve been learning a lot on how to be careful and wise with my money.

It’s a good thing to learn. I was never taught how growing up. We had anything we wanted. Which is not good for kids. But I did learn how much my parents sacrificed for me and my sister so we could have that stuff. But I would have rather had their time.

God calls us to be good stewards with whatever He gives us: food, money, time, children…

True. You would think I would be able to be a great steward since that’s what my name means…but…nah…not so great
