Satan’s Lies | God’s Replies: Day 18 Hopelessness

Satan’s Lie:
Hope: No one could understand how hopeless I feel.

God’s Reply:

Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord , the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
Isaiah 40:28โ€ญ-โ€ฌ29 KJV

There are so many people out there, right now…at this very minute, who feel hopeless.

Woman being raped, for no other reason than a man’s selfishness, with no one to turn to…

Men loosing their right to see there kids just because his now ex-wife is angry and hurt…

Homeless people who are looked down upon simply for the fact they can’t bathe or change clothes…

Unemployed men and women feeling the stress of bills piling up and no answers from interviews…

Men and women wanting so desperately to be free of their addiction but don’t know how…

Men who’s wives are withholding sex…

Wives who’s husbands are looking elsewhere for intimacy…

People who have recently lost a loved one and feel as if they can’t go on without them…

Children being bullied or worse…being sexually or physically abused…

And I could keep going on and on and on, but I believe you get the idea.

Many of us have dealt with these issues or have had someone close to us that have. And yet each journey, though similar, is different.

And because of that difference we may not truly understand the depth of someone else’s pain or why they feel so hopeless.

But praise God He understands each of our pain on a individual level. The scripture says there is no searching of His understanding.

You will not find anything that God does not understand.

You will not find anything that he does not have knowledge of.

Whatever you are going through right, no matter how hopeless you feel, there is a God who understands and He loves you more than your mind can fathom.

I’m talking to myself here too,

If you feel no one understands…

If you feel no one will lend a listening ear…

If you feel all alone, that no one cares…

Take it to God, please!

He does listen…always.

He does understand… always.

He does care…always.

He loves you unconditionally…always.
