March | Marching On Tag

I so love these monthly tags that Purple Rose and Dollfaced Writer have come up with. I am honored that Purple Rose has tagged me to participate! Thank you so much sis!

Go check out her tag here.

It’s cool that they have chosen the theme of Marching On for this month. As most of you have read February was very difficult month for me. And though I am still unemployed at moment I will be using the month of March to begin my process of moving forward in my faith and into whatever career the Lord has for me.

Here are the rules:
1. Thank the person who nominated you to participate.
2. Link back to the original post.
3. Use the original featured image.
4. Talk about what this month’s theme means to you.
5. Answer the questions.
6. Nominate one or more people to participate.
7. Enjoy the rest of your month!

Here are the questions for this month’s tag:

1. Are you or is anyone in your family Irish?

Not that I am aware of.

2. Do you wear green for St. Patrick’s Day? 🍀

Most of the time…in one form or another 🙂

3. Do you decorate for St. Patrick’s Day? 🍀

Ummm…nope

4. If you spotted a leprechaun, followed him, saw a rainbow 🌈and a pot of gold…what would the gold be to you? Actual gold? Or something else?

The pot itself would be made of gold and the contents would be gold coins that when you took one out another took it’s place to always ensure the rainbow always stayed vibrant in color.

5. What shade of green is your favorite? Provide an image if possible.

6. What do you like best about the month of March? What do you like the least?

I’m not sure honestly. March has always been just another month to me.

My birthday is the last day of the month though 🙃

7. What’s the luckiest thing that’s ever happened to you?

Besides the birth of my precious kids, I would have to say it would be having the honor and privilege to love and be loved by Angie, my beautiful amazing love ❤

For this month I am tagging…

Ana, John & Kathy

As they have each in their own way helped me to march forward.

  1. Love this! Marching On, is right. We have a choice, either stay stuck in the present or past, or continue marching on with the Lord no matter what obstacles we may encounter.
And can I just say, my favorite color of all is green! Thank you for the sweet comment, you my dear friend and brother in the Lord have also helped me march forward, especially since you began the prayer group. It’s been a blessing. Thank you 🙂

    1. These are fun! I’ll admit though I was a little nervous about putting that picture of me and Angie up there, but since I am talking about her more I figured a face to go with the name would be good.

      1. Yes! Still waiting for that explanation 😉 it’s so sweet to see how much you care about her, even if you can’t be with her.

          1. Well, I hope she reads your blog one day and sees how much you care about her.
If you ever decide to write about your relationship, I for one would like to know your love story. I’m always a sucker for anything to do with romance. 🙂
Somethings are much too personal to share though.

  4. Cool stuff, Stuart! I’ll follow up on the nomination.
Your comment, “As they have each in their own way helped me to march forward,” made me think of the battle in Exodus 17, when Moses’ buddies “stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side,” and, with their help, God was with them and they won the battle.
I love how we all hold each other’s hands up.

  5. Although my son’s favorite color was green, and my mom’s side of the family is Irish and German, I’ve never really worried about the St Patty’s Day.
Unless for fun for friends who are into it.
Great picture of you and Angie! Praising God for answered prayer for both of you. May your relationship be a God filled, brother. God loves you both!
