7 Favorite Things Tag

This looks fun. I saw this on Vickie’s blog this morning and was like cool. She chose not to nominate anyone but open to all. So I am going with it 🙂

Go check out Vickie’s 7 Favorite Things

RULES:

1. Link back and thank the person who tagged you.

2. Link back and thank the blogger who started the tag. That was Beth.

3. List and picture at least seven of your favorite things.

4. Tag at least seven people.

5. List the rules.

Here are my favorite things…

1. My kids

Both are miracles. Both give me a reason to smile every single day. I am so proud of both of their accomplishments and so honored God chose me to be their dad ❤

2. My Bible which was given to me for Christmas by my Granny.

It has had to rebound twice and has a lot of notes in the margin and highlights dating back to high school. Sadly there were years where the most valuable book in the world sat closed on a shelf. Not anymore!

3. Stryper

They have been a part of my life since 84. Their music has comforted me, made me mad and has helped me to heal on so many occasions.

4. Coffee is a must!!! I think I would bleed coffee if someone stabbed me.

5. Sushi is certainly a favorite 🙂

6. Movies based on comic book heroes whether live action or animated. They have helped keep me sane of late.

7. My son’s new hobby…painting

Ladies and gents you have been tagged. Play along if you would like 🙂

    1. Thank you! They don’t feel that way when I have to be the mean dad…lol. Doesn’t happen to often though 🙂

You’re very welcome for the tag. I thought you would like it!

So…which game are you going to take a picture of..🤔

  2. I really enjoyed your answers and I’m glad that you chose to participate. The kids look amazing! My favorite thing from your list was your Bible from your grandmother. How precious is that!

    1. Thank you Vickie! It was fun 🙂

I love that Bible. I was so happy I carried it to school with me a lot my sophmore and junior year of high school. It holds a very special place in my heart. Granny was always reading hers.

  3. Hi Stu! This sounds like it would be fun, thanks for tagging me! But…I have a problem, I’m not great with our modern technology and just can’t seem to get this linking back done right, just never works. Sigh. I’m still in the learning stages. One of these days. I enjoyed your favorites by the way! Well, except the Sushi. Have a great time!

    1. Sushi is an acquired taste 🙂

Hey no worries on the link back. You just simply copy the URL of my post and put in your post that you are writing. You don’t even have to do that if you do not want to. Just go with it and have fun sharing photos.

Have a great night bro. Hey, do have any eagles up that way?

      1. I don’t think I could acquire that taste!😛. Okay I’ll give it a try! Thanks also for nominating me for the Leibster award but since I couldn’t figure it out I had to skip it, sigh, couldn’t even figure out how to get the award logo to use.😞. Yes, we have lots of eagles, both bald eagles and golden eagles. This area of Canada actually has more breeding pairs than anywhere else in the country. And we always have some bald eagles that even stay through the winter. Thanks again!

Bald eagles are my favorite bird. We don’t have that many down here in Louisiana 😦

          1. Hey, thanks brother! You just might hear from me sometime! Although we have a lot of eagles I still haven’t gotten a picture.😞. Perhaps this year. Depending on the weather they should start coming back in about 3 weeks. The ones that stay all winter hang around by the river since it never freezes so they can easily get fish and ducks. Have a great day!
