Prayer Request For January 2019

I’m a little late with this post. Sorry, I’ve been busy trying to find Bible verses for my 2019 Daily Inspiration posts as well as spending more time with my son.

With the above mentioned if you want to share your favorite Bible verses in the comments I will try to include them this year 🙂

The prayer group is still going strong, though the holidays I believe got to us all. There were a few requests for December and with the new year I know it will pick up…at least on my end. I mean my word for the year is INTENTIONAL. So I will be apt to ask for prayers in the coming months even when it comes to the daily grind.

I know a lot of people are feeling the residual stress of the holidays and the bills associated with it. For some maybe depression and anxiety have set in.

People have lost loved ones due to a broken relationship or death.

Children are being born and needing to stay longer in the hospital for health issues.

The elderly are getting sick.

More and more people are becoming homeless.

And if you knew the stats for Pornography viewership for last year…you would freak. More and more are becoming addicted or struggling to stop. And with more and more younger kids getting devices and parents not monitoring the content they view…yeah.

See, there is quite a bit to lay at the very throne of God in prayer, much less our own issues.

But…

If you have a prayer request for yourself or for a friend please leave a comment so others can join you in praying!

If you would like to join the prayer group just shoot me an email to stubaby777@gmail.com and I will be more than happy to add you and introduce you to everyone 🙂

We have 21 bloggers in the prayer group praying for one another and there is always room for more ❤

Have a great weekend guys and gals 🙂

  1. Ugh! Speaking of, I heard on tv that porn is the number one thing that is viewed online?! It’s sad. So sad. But God is stronger than that, and one day things will change. One home at a time. We need to change things in order to break the vicious cycle / break those chains so that our children don’t become victims of it.

    1. About 92 million people visit one website everyday spending an average of 10 minutes viewing porn and that includes teens.

But, you are accurate…change comes one heart at a time…one home at a time…

      1. Eek! Those numbers are insane! 😣 You know the church does a great job in helping raise our children and a couple things they’ve said is to put your home computer out where you’re also able to view what your child is doing on it. That means, no computers in the bedrooms. Also, and mine are still little but, when they get of age, no smart phones, avoid those that can connect to the internet so they aren’t tempted to look up porn / other inappropriate things.

Indeed. One home at a time. But it definitely starts there.
