My Jesus Is Amazing has nominated me for The Liebster Award. I am truly honored guys!

This young woman shares her personal journey from sexual addiction to freedom in Christ so openly and honestly. I love it!

Trust me, it is NOT just a guy thing. The number of women struggling with porn, masturbation and sex addiction is on the rise at a drastic pace. And we need more women speaking out and offering hope!

Here are the questions asked:

1. About Salvation, when did you start to follow that path?

I started at a young age, accepting Christ as young person, but did not understand, nor was I taught, what it truly meant to follow Jesus. I went astray rededicating my life many years later after a LOT of bad choices and hitting rock bottom.

2 So far, how has been your walk of salvation?

As with us all it has its ups and downs. But I would not change a thing!

3. What’s your favorite movie?

At moment it is Ready Player One. I have watched it about a hundred times and every time I see a different character I missed. There is just too much in the Oasis. Only Spielberg could have pulled this off 🙂

4. What’s your least-favorite movie?

Napoleon Dynamite….2 hours of my life I’ll never get back

5. What motivates you to blog?

Hope!

6. What’s your most embarrassing moment?

Ummm…I snuck a girl through my bedroom window one night. Not giving details…let’s just say mom woke up and started banging on my door asking who I had in my room with me. My answer, as the girl is trying to haphazardly get dressed, nobody. I unlock the door and mom walks straight to my closet and well…busted!

7. What is your most memorable moment?

This one is easy. Being there for Brandon’s birth, being able to cut his umbilical cord and clean him off. I must say it was the most beautiful disgusting thing in the world and I would not have missed it for the world. I was out of town on business when Erin was born. I drove from Canton, Mississippi to Ruston, Louisiana at 90 and missed her birth by 15 minutes 😦

8. If you’re married, how did you meet your spouse?

Not married, but I met my ex-wife through my best friend Joey. He knows to not introduce me to anymore women…lol

9. On a scale of 1-10, How excited are you about Christmas?

I’ll be honest due to the commercialization of Christmas I’m more happy when it’s over! So I would say a 4

10. How are your preparations for Christmas?

My preparation for Christmas is simply buying presents for my children. Being single makes it easy and difficult.

11. What are your expectations for 2019?

To be more intentional in my journey with the Lord and my relationship with Brandon and Erin.

And hopefully find someone…that will allow me the time to open my heart back up to the possibility of love.

1. I like my ice cream with salt.

2. I love watermelon jelly! (Which reminds me I need to make more…soon)

3. I want to try honey wine one day.

4. In high school I was caught cheating the one and only time I tried.

5. I didn’t learn to French kiss until Jr high and oh my gosh…what s rush!!

6. I was bitten by a squirrel that I had shot and didn’t die. So when I got back home my mom says I have to get a rabies shot. I knew what those shots entailed. We went to the doctor and he goes, I need to run a test on the squirrel. I was like ummm…sorry there’s nothing left of that squirrel. I said no to the shots too

7. I can’t stand the town I live in, but I’m staying for my kids.

8. Besides Stubaby, two of my other nicknames are cookie monster and Thor.

9. I have a secret crush on Kate Beckinsale…shhh

10. Two of my favorite movies of all time…

11. One of my favorite things I brought back from the Honduras mission trip besides a renewal of my spirit and coffee (oh good gosh!!) was a handmade hammock 🙂
