I was asked the same question that Laura was asked. Please go read her post. Such wonderful memories she shares with us!

Here is the question:

What is your favorite holiday memory and include your favorite gift, food, and throw in an embarrassing moment too if you like, all holiday related please.

I must say that out of all the 50 Christmas’ I have had the honor of being alive for, the best one was 14 years ago. It was mine and Jenn’s first Christmas together as a married couple and we were blessed with the birth of Erin Elizabeth Tutt 10 days prior. A Christmas gift for a lifetime!

We had Christmas early that year as our little miracle was premature. It was my mom and stepdads anniversary so they were super excited when they got the call 🙂

A lovely time of changing diapers, making and washing baby bottles, washing our clothes and hers from spit up and trying to get a few hours of sleep in at night.

Of course every parent gets peed on eventually and as a new dad I was no different. Never happened with Brandon though….well at least not me anyway.

There were so many things given to us prior to her being born from church members that we were set for a little while.

Jenn and I didn’t give each other gifts that year…we had our blue eyed angel!

I don’t remember a lot of that Christmas as our life was hectic to say the least. But I do remember waking up Christmas morning, grabbing Erin from her crib and saying Merry Christmas my little blue eyed angel. And then rushing to make her bottle while Jenn changed her diaper to put on her Christmas dress. And off we went to church and then the in-laws for the day.

Erin is a gift that is forever giving love and joy. She will always be my little angel ❤

My favorite Christmas as a child was when dad got me and my sister Pooch, a half lab half beagle puppy 🙂
