As some of you know, God brought this amazing woman into my life when I needed a friend the most. And I have had the honor of walking a journey with her…one I pray I never have to experience…the loss of a child.
She called me tonight to catch up and to share an article that she recently read on child loss. She gave me the highlights of the post and I agreed wholeheartedly with each one. As I said earlier, I’ve walked along side her for years. I know and I understand the importance of each point made in this post.
So without further ado, please take a moment of your time and go read…

You’re a sweet friend, Stuart. Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for sharing, Stu. My heart aches for your friend and others who are facing this pain and loss year after year. It was helpful to read her story about the group and her suggestions for the rest of us. Prayers lifted even now for all the brokenhearted loved ones.

Child loss is a nightmare in broad day light! Am still recovering from it. Am glad am not going through it alone. I have Jesus by my side. One day I pray that I will be able to share his photo on my blog.

No, sis, you are far from alone. If you want someone to talk to, my friend would be willing to share and listen. I look forward to reading of him and seeing his picture 🙂

Is it okay to struggle to open up? I really struggled writing my testimony part 3. Even reading it stirs emotions.

I kmow how it is was writing your story. I bawled like a baby writing mine.
I can’t tell you to write osts about him. Thats between you and God, but I can say that by sharing, even if only in a journal could be part of the healing process. There are many who have lost a loved one and hearing the struggle from someone who walks it could help them cope with theirs and offer hope.

My heart aches for your friend. In 2016, my daughter lost her unborn child. She was seven months pregnant but Tessa had died in the womb due to a large tumor around her little neck. We were all heartbroken, and none more so than my beloved daughter. So, as I write this, the tears are falling because your friend is hurting so much right now. May God’s peace and comfort be with you and her at this time of grieving.
