D Is For Desire

Desire is such a wonderful word to describe that longing, yearning, craving, hunger…that…that…want for the one you love.

I am my beloved’s, and his desire is toward me.
Song of Solomon 7:10

Ladies, may you always be proud to say I am my beloved’s…

Men, may your desire always and only be towards her…

  3. I will also tell you that in addition to marital relationships, praying for desire has been critical in my relationship with God. When I know it is for my spiritual well being that God is asking me to… pray, read the Bible, praise Him, etc. …if I don’t “feel” like it, I often pray for God to give that desire. Sometimes I have to pray for a few days, but God has always given me the spiritual desire to know Him and spend time with Him. Praying to desire God is a good place to begin, at least for me.
