The Sunshine Blogger Award 2018 | Sixth Nomination

Wow, I am so honored to be nominated for The Sunshine Blogger Award by none other than Muneeta at Inner Voice! Thank you so much my friend! Keep shining 🙂

Here are the rules…

Thank the blogger who nominated you.

Use the “Sunshine Blogger Award” logo on your post.

Answer the 11 questions the selector asks of you.

Nominate 5-11 bloggers you want to give the award to.

Ask the following bloggers that you selected 11 questions of your own.

Here are the questions Muneeta posed to her nominees:

1. Top three books on your list?

The Power of a Praying Husband by Stormie Omartian

Point Man by Steve Farrar

Anchor Man by Steve Farrar

2. Choose any one ( Fire & water ) and state the reason behind choosing it.

🤔🤔🤔 Water, because I want what is poured into my life to have a ripple affect to those around.

3. Define emotions?

This is a hard one…

Emotions are things we either wear on our sleeves or hide in a dungeon. And yet, I have seen dungeons opened with love and care. The flood gates opened! And I have seen sleeves ripped off by the careless words of others 😦

4. Mention your three favourite bloggers on WordPress.

Awe man, this is not fair. I don’t wanna….so I’m not gonna!

Honestly, I don’t think I have a favorite. I have equal respect for all of you.

I will share with you three bloggers that have touched my heart here lately, though…

Life Lessons Around The Dinner Table

A New Life

iWrite…My Love Story!

5. What do you prefer!! Fine dine or street food?

That depends on the person I am with at the time. If it is just me…street food. If I am dating someone it is their choice.

6. How did you come up with your blog name?

In 2013 I gave my testimony at the Wrestling For Your Life conference. It is here that I met Ted Debiase and Kerri from Kerri Chronicles. It was actually her support that got me started blogging. She said I had a story to tell and that I had a way of making people think. So what originally started out as Speaking The Truth became Something To Stu Over after much thought, prayer and text messages.

7. Favourite music genre?

Christian Rock

8. What is the impact of social media in today’s world?

Social media is killing us. I say that for many reasons…

Everytime I go out to eat with the kids or a friend I look around and all I see are phones in hands with no communication 😦

I see zombies in the malls with their heads buried in their phones.

It interferes with intimacy within the bedroom. You can check out J’s post from Hot, Holy & Humorous for a quick giggle and info as to why some folks would check their phone during sex….

But seriously…couples would rather spend time in bed watching Netflix on their phone than cuddling, talking or having sex. I would much rather do the latter three…just saying 🙂

9. Any experience of your life, that changed you in a positive way?

Besides Jesus and my kids…meeting my beautiful amazing love.

10. Share a “quote of the day”

One is one too many and one more is never enough.

Here are my nominees:

Life Lessons Around The Dinner Table

The Eclectic Contrarian

My Namestè 365

Michelle Heathen

The Rendezvous Club

Romans10Seventeen

Here are my questions:

1. What topic have you always wanted to write about, but have been afraid to do so?

2. Are you afraid of anything? (From my son Brandon)

3. What is favorite verse from the Bible?

4. What is your favorite post that you have written? Share a link with us so we can read it 🙂

5. We all have that one post that truly touched our hearts. What is yours?

6. What is your favorite mode of transportation… car, plane, train or boat?

7. What is your favorite movie?

8. Who has inspired you the most?

9. Who is your favorite Disney character?

10. Who is your favorite cartoon character of all time?

11. Which area of you walk with God needs improvement…reading His Word or your prayer time?

    1. You’re welcome! I actually have a hard time getting words out of my heart and have them make sense sometimes. There have been several posts that I wanted to comment on but I just couldn’t get the words right.
