Guys, don’t just come home and let the first words out of your mouth be what’s for dinner.
Let the first words out of your mouth be…Honey, I missed you. Then walk up to her, hug her, hold her and kiss her like you mean it.
Then help with dinner 🙂
Prove your love for your bride daily with action and not just through words!
I agree. Be in a relationship.. relate! Communicate! You get out of what you contribute.

It’s sooooo important for fathers to lead their families by example, because of their sons as they grow up watching how dad treats mom. It seems like just a small thing but those young hearts need to see dad treating mom like what you just described!! It’s actually really big and important. Thank you!

Yes, same here but God is faithful in showing us these things anyways. Not that my dad was bad or anything he just treated my mama like the maid.

Sadly, a LOT of men treat their wife in that manner. It’s like they can’t pick up after themselves or even wash their own clothes 😦

It is sad Stuart. 😦 I’m trying my best to train my two boys otherwise. I just do what I can and pray God blesses my efforts.

Amen brother! I am a stay at home Dad because of Celiac and I have dinner ready for my wife and kids every night when they come home. I make breakfast and lunches in the morning and I do the dishes too. Just like Mr. Mom! God bless!
