My Post Picks

Hey guys! Time for something a little different again. Once a month I plan on doing a post, sharing links to posts that have truly touched my heart.

Ok…to be honest I did kind of steal this idea from Amy.

But, come one…I mean, what an amazing idea it is to share posts that have touched or moved us with others. To be able to share with you stories that you may have otherwise not known about.

So with that said, I believe I should start with Amy’s The Whole Truth journey she is working on. This journey is her story. It powerful, raw, honest and real! As I’ve been reading her story two things stand out…courage and the overwhelming grace of God! Join with me in reading her journey…who knows…perhaps reading hers will give you the strength to share yours.

Oh my gosh folks! You have got to go read Tosin’s series entitled Lessons From A Big Baby! It is freaking awesome. She tells us of lessons she learned from a time in her life when she was searching. I could write a whole blog post about this but I’m not. Go read it!!

Maxine from Heavensreef bring us a wonderful reminder that with God…all things are possible, despite the opinions of ourselves and others…we just need to be ready for having No Limits!!!

This touched me simply because it, sadly happens. In Tommy, a poem by Sincere, a story is weaved of a young man who we don’t know..so therefore we shouldn’t really care what happens…or should we?

Reminiscence by Dollfaced Writer is a great poem about a place we either long to go to or simply leave behind…

Warren’s post The Ink captivated me. The words the Lord gives him to write his love story is simply amazing. I see it as a way to say without the ink the pen can not write. For it is the ink that flows through the pen that gives it purpose.

Look In The Mirror by The Inner Voice is a powerful reminder of the man/woman you have become. Look in the mirror and see yourself…the you who has gone through so much and yet you are still there…going. That speaks!

The Search For Peace by my brother George over at One Man’s Journey Of Redemption really moved me this morning. It’s amazing how one simple word…peace…can be so hard to understand, much less achieve. At age 50 I’m still looking for that peace. I feel this post brought it closer to fruition.

Now, what are you waiting for? Grab some more coffee and read my friends, read!

  2. Thanks Stu!

Loved that you mentioned me……so can I steal your or rather Amy’s idea?? It is a great way to see other blogs and to support one another for sure. Let us all be encouraging to each other since there is so much negative out there on Social Media! Keep writing my friend! Will read your other picks for sure and blessings on your day!
