So here we are folks…day 2 and I must thank Wendi from Simply Chronically Ill for thinking of me. It’s always cool to participate in these 🙂
Guys, please go show her some love and encouragement.
So, without further ado here is today’s quote
I have always loved this quote, for it is so true. Like with this photo I created for this post. I think it’s cool. You may think it’s ugly as heck. And that’s ok, because we all have our own opinion of what beauty is.
But ladies, when the man that loves you says you are beautiful, please believe him. For he loves, not only your outer beauty but your inward beauty as well.
Trust me when I say this…it cuts us to the core when you do not believe us. If you want to read a post I wrote a few years back about this very topic, you can check it out here.
Here are today’s nominees:
Mehakkhorana at Crazartt
Lulu at Lulu’s Happy Life

When I first saw your quote, I thought, “Amen! I’m so glad we’re Beheld in His eyes!”
When I read your post as well, I was surprised… challenged… convicted.
It was truly beautiful in itself. It makes all the difference to know the man behind that comment.
God’s love is a beautiful thing. I can only imagine how we (men and women) must make Him feel by not believing Him on how beautiful, precious, and valuable we are to Him.
Thank you for both posts (I read the older blog post you added). God loves you, Stu! He really does.

Thank you for reading the other post. That is one of those gut wrenching ones for me. My ex-wife never did believe me. My last and only girlfriend since my divorce did start believing me about one year into our relationship. She said I am starting to see myself through your eyes, because I see the love when you say hey, beautiful. Now, that our relationship is over she is again having doubts and I’m like NO, remember who you are.
It amazing how God can see us one way and we see ourselves totally different at times.
God loves you too sis! 🙂

So grateful He does! Thank you!
Your vision of the woman you love is touching… just as powerful while you wait for the Lord to send His beauty for you! To see you in the same loving manner. His love does amazing things when included in our relationships. ❤

I’m glad this resonated with you. I will admit, with all the insecurities I had on my self, it is hard to believe a woman when she says I’m handsome or sexy. So I completely get it. We all have those insecurities or self image issues.
It just always hurts me so badly when the woman I love doesn’t believe me.

Now I can only imagine how I’ve hurt him too . . . cos many times I have shrugged his compliments away without even a ‘thank you’. I do apologise on ‘our’ behalf.
