It is sad to say this….but umm…..modesty has left our nation for the most part.

Let’s be real guys..we all have eye balls. Some of us try very hard to not do the double take when a pretty woman walks by. Many times it is real hard and a pain in the rear to be “visually” stimulated and a Christian. It is not a sin to look at a young woman or an older woman that walks by. But when you do that double take and your mind starts to wonder what she looks like without her clothes on is when you get in trouble. Don’t you just wish women and young ladies would dress modestly? If you have issues with same-sex attraction don’t you wish guys would wear looser fitting jeans or shorts?

Parents, do you want your daughter lusted after at school or while she is walking in the mall with friends?

Husbands, do you want other men looking at your wife in ways only you have the right to do?

Ladies, do you want other women or men for that matter looking at your husbands “package” because he left the house in pants that were too tight? Moms, the same question for your son.

There needs to be guidelines set up at home. And they need to be agreed on by both parents. Pray and ask the Lord for guidance as you set these rules in place for dressing modestly. Listed below are four that might help.

“Four Guidelines for Modesty”:

1.If you have trouble getting into it or out of it, it is probably not modest.

2.If you have to be careful when you sit down or bend over, it is probably not modest.

3.If people look at any part of your body before looking at your face, it is probably not modest.

4.If you can see your most private body parts or an outline of those parts under the fabric, it is probably not modest.

God bless,
